Every two years the State Prize for Consulting is awarded by the Austrian Consultants Association (ACA) and the Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economics. The award recognizes Austrian engineering consulting in diverse disciplines. The awarding of the State Prize aims to highlight the broad field of innovative and exportable engineering services and to increasingly draw attention to the economic significance of consulting engineering.
Out of a high number of applications, five companies from different categories are nominated. In the end, one company is awarded the State Prize for Consulting. Both the State Prize, as well as the nominations are endowed with prize money.
