Research
We see ourselves not only as CFD specialists, but we are also actively working to develop and improve our knowledge in fluid dynamics. Therefore, in cooperation with our partners in research and industry, we develop new and more efficient ways to realize CFD simulations.

Concept of the new horizontal wind turbine
Tests in the wind tunnel with the prototype
Prototype of the horizontal wind turbine
Prototyp of the Research Project “Grenzschichtläufer” – hill wind technologies i.G.
Our newest innovation is a new type of small wind turbine which makes it possible to use near-ground turbulent boundary layers of wind for energy production. Our patent-registered concept called “Genzschichtläufer” works without adaption mechanism and is very cost-effective in operation.
After two years of intense research with simulations and wind tunnel tests, the first prototype is now in operation. We gladly provide you with more information about our new product if you are interested.
The first success for the project “hill wind technologies” already worked out. In April 2014 the Primus 2014 – the award of the Styrian economy – in the category “brainstorm” was won. A short video about it can be found here.
